After attempting to set the theme to azur with galleria installed in the root wordpress directory, the gallery seems to display OK (for the most part) but the “Gallery did not load” message appears. Deleting the browser cache did not make this go away.
The other issue I noticed is that it does not seem to be possible to display image descriptions without the image filenames/titles. When I set captions=”no” and descriptions=”yes”, I do not see any image descriptions. This is the great benefit of the azur theme — it displays descriptions rather nicely in the galleria display, but this benefit is rather diminished if the filename needs to be displayed as well. It takes up too much extra space and is unnecessary for my purposes.

Above is the Azur theme under Galleria 1.2.8 – it loads without error.
Ideally you want to display the galleria on a page with no sidebars – this page is using the Medium 640 size which is the largest size that will fit on a 2 column display for this WordPress theme
