Here are the instructions to add a Flickr slideshow to a WordPress sidebar widget:
- Upload your photos to Flickr and tag them
- Login in as an administrator on your wordpress site
- Click on Appearance and then Widgets
- Drag a Text Widget into the sidebar
- Add a title
- In the content of the widget add the slickr-flickr shortcode with type=”slideshow” and remember to specify size=”small”
- Save and Close
- View the results

Re your first point, what is the URL of your page, if there are no photos you may have a typo in the slickr-flickr command
Use the widget logic plugin to hide a widget on a specific page – for example if the ID of your products gallery page is 47 then the code to use
!is_page(47)
to display the widget everywhere but the gallery pageMaciek says
Hi.
Two questions:
I tried to make a small slideshow and went through the tutorial. The widget doesn’t show the pics- the api and id are correct… Where I can look for mistakes? I use Customizr theme.
Second question – can I somehow disable the slideshow on one of the pages? I have a special page for products gallery and do not want to overload it with another slideshow with the same photos…

Tony, Widgets is an option under the WordPress Appearance menu – providing your WordPress login is administrator level

On wordpress 3.5.1 I don’t see a widget menu in the Appearance menu.. has this changed?
